WHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES IT SAY, THAT THE DEAD SPIRITS OF LOVED ONES,
OR
WHOEVER IT MAYBE IT; COMES TO SPEAK AND SHOW THEIR PRESENSE TO THE
LIVING
THAT IS NOT OF GOD, BUT IT IS DEMONIC

Hi Lisa,
I'm Bruce, one of the folks who Lambert sometimes shares his e-mail
with
for comment.
Here is the most succinct Biblical answer to your question that I can
think of. It's from Ecclesiastes 9:3-6.
This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that one fate
comes
to all; also the hearts of men are full of evil, and madness
is in their
hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead. But
he who
is joined with all the living has hope, for a living dog is better
than
a dead lion. For the living know that they will die, but the
dead know
nothing, and they have no more reward; but the memory of them
is lost.
Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished,
and they
have no more for ever any share in all that is done under the
sun.
This is, of course, written by Solomon, the wisest man ever to live.
It
comes from Ecclesiastes, his book recording his investigation of all
things "under the sun", that is in the human experience. Notice that
he
points out to us that the dead have no more motive to talk to us. "Their
love and their hate and their envy have already perished . . ." (v.
6)
Another way to say they no longer remember anything.
More to the point, ". . . they have no more for ever any share in all
that is done under the sun." There it is, the dead have no more to
do
with the affairs of men, "under the sun".
Since we, humans, have very real spiritual enemies, demons, who can
appear to represent anything to our minds, even including an angel
of
light, we must constantly test the spirits. But Solomon assures us
that
anything pretending itself to be a dead human is a liar, for the reasons
already mentioned.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Bruce
